We prepare the Pre-K scholars for Kindergarten at Alphabet Garden located at 1631 East Passyunk Avenue. This is the last and most important part of their journey.

The Garden is designed to provide the children with an appreciation for growing things. .The children are surrounded by beauty as they learn how, where and why things grow. This separate site, exclusively for Pre-K classes, gives the children the unique opportunity to learn in a classroom setting uninterrupted by distractions from younger children. Our Pre-K curriculum exceeds the standards set by the PA Dept. of Education and gives a child the necessary skills for a lifetime love of learning. In addition to the activities on the monthly calendar, the children work in reading readiness and math readiness workbooks as well as penmanship copy book. Monthly lessons are also taught in Science and Social Studies. Homework is sent home weekly to promote independence, responsibility and parent involvement.

Computer classes are available for all preschool and Pre-K children. We use software that teaches basic skills and the children have access to the internet, which provides them with a huge network of educational tools at their finger tips.
